REF!NED is a Canadian automotive streetwear and lifestyle brand built around car culture, clean design and attention to detail. Our collections draw from JDM, Euro, American muscle and modern performance cars across apparel, stickers and accessories.
Where It All Began..
Founder Paul’s journey into automotive culture started like many others of his generation. Growing up in the early 2000s, he was shaped by the cultural phenomenon of The Fast and the Furious films and countless hours spent customizing virtual builds in Need for Speed Underground 2. These weren’t just entertainment—they represented a lifestyle and a vision of what automotive culture could be.
What began as digital dreams eventually manifested into reality. Paul got his first vehicle and immediately started customizing it, learning hands-on what it meant to build something that reflected a personal vision. He began attending car shows, immersing himself in the community, and understanding the dedication and craftsmanship that goes into this culture. From the stance scene to motorsports, from tuner builds to classic modifications, he developed a deep appreciation for all aspects of automotive enthusiasm.
Building the Foundation
While his passion for automotive culture continued to grow, Paul spent several years working in the apparel production industry. He wasn’t just observing—he was learning the craft from the ground up. Working extensively with screen printing, direct-to-garment (DTG) printing, direct-to-film (DTF) printing, embroidery, and cut-and-sew construction, Paul produced apparel for various brands and companies, developing a comprehensive understanding of quality standards, production processes, and what separates exceptional products from mediocre ones.
This experience gave him something invaluable: the technical knowledge to execute his vision at a professional level. He understood fabric weights, print durability, color fastness, and the nuances of different production methods. More importantly, he knew how to deliver consistent quality—something he believed the automotive apparel market needed more of.

Starting REFINED was about bringing together two things I’ve dedicated years to: automotive culture and quality apparel production. I saw an opportunity to create something that serves the community I’m part of—products that reflect our shared passion with the level of quality we deserve.
